As The Snow Comes Down

The Lord created me with a love for snow. Those who know me, know this well. Not that I have entered His treasuries of the snow (Job 38:22), but that I have entered into the Treasury of Jesus Himself. And in Him is the revelation of the glories of these personalized tiny frozen hexagonal ice crystals in the form of soft white flakes that fall as a blanket from the vault of heaven.

On the first day of this week, it snowed where we live. That may not be a big deal to some who are used to living in it, but it was a gift to me. I felt like a kid in a winter wonderland. It covered everything everywhere with glistening white! As it fell, the Lord quickened me with a Word.

Then, quite unexpectedly, it snowed again this morning. TWICE in a week. As I watched these little marvels descend like manna coating the ground with glory, the same Word resonated in my heart. Then the Lord highlighted to me it was a double confirmation. These are the verses He gave me:

“As the SNOW and rain that fall from heaven do not return until they have accomplished their purpose, soaking the earth and causing it to sprout with new life, providing seed to sow and bread to eat. So also will be the word that I speak; it does not return to me unfulfilled. My word performs my purpose and fulfills the mission I sent it out to accomplish.” Isaiah 55:10-11 TPT

The context of these verses have to do with the Lord’s mercy and grace being unlike man’s. As high as the heavens are above the earth, so His ways of unearned, unmerited favor, forgiveness and thoughts of love and compassion are higher than ours! (See verse 9).

And just as we are believing this truth and speaking His promises, our prayers, declarations and ‘Amens’ are creating the reality we are hoping for. Once His Word is released from your mouth in faith, it will not return void. Just like the snow waters the earth to bring forth life, His spoken Word waters the soil of your heart, producing fruit in your soul to prosper your life!

The Lord is saying with this double confirmation that everything you’ve decreed in hope for your life, your loved ones and your nation are all coming to pass! Don’t stop believing! While it may not look like what you thought, His plans for you and America are beyond what you can imagine.

But you must keep your eyes on Jesus! It is His blood that washed you whiter than snow. It is His glistening robe of righteousness that wraps you in His glory. He IS the Living Water, the Seed, the Way, the Fruit and the Bread of Life! He IS your manifested Word!!

So do not fear the cold in the dark of winter. For the snow is a sign of the Lord mighty in battle, fighting for you (Job 38:23). In this year of LIBERTY, you will leave your exile with joy and be led forth in His peace (verse 12). Because, beloved, the best is yet to come!

Resting In His Love,

Annalee Reyes
