2022: The Power of the Blood

2022: A fresh revelation of the power of the blood.

The blood of Jesus is His liquid agape (not of human form, the self-sacrificing love of the Father). It was shed to unite us back to God. It is the voice of His victory over all.

It poured out from His body as healing balm and poured forth from His heart as the best wine to win you over. The furious-love-fluid that forgave all your sins to drench you in His favor.

It is the crimson cleaning-agent that washed you spotless, whiter than snow. It is the salvation-solution that made payment for your soul; the glory-turned-scarlet that ransomed your life from death.

The blood of Jesus IS THE power of God to save, deliver, heal, prosper, protect and transform you and your family. For without the shedding of blood there is no remission. That’s why all your life-source is found in His perfect blood (Lev. 17:11, Heb. 9:22).

“But [you were actually purchased] with precious blood, like that of a [sacrificial] lamb unblemished and spotless, the priceless blood of Christ.”‭‭ 1 Peter‬ ‭1:19‬ ‭AMP‬‬

But did you know the blood speaks? Blood has a voice. In the Old Testament, the first mention of blood has to do with Cain killing his brother Abel (who brought a better offering to God because of the evidence of a death, a picture of the sacrifice of Jesus vs. self-effort). The voice of Abel’s blood cried out, “Vengeance!” But the blood of our Savior cries out, “Grace! Grace! Forgiveness! Forgiveness! Draw Near! Draw Near! Intimacy! Intimacy!”

“You’ve come to Jesus, who presents us with a new covenant, a fresh charter from God. He is the Mediator of this covenant. The murder of Jesus, unlike Abel’s—a homicide that cried out for vengeance—became a proclamation of grace.”‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12:24‬ ‭MSG‬‬

The cup of His Communion is the cup of the NEW! The OLD covenant of the law is obsolete. But the NEW Covenant in His blood is where His glory over you never fades. It is the drink of celebration and a clean conscience; a sprinkling of Christ-consciousness, not self-&-sin-consciousness!

As a new wineskin filled with His new-yet-vintage fruit, you have the bloodline of The King. His bloodline is the plumb line (a chord attached to a weight to determine vertical direction) of His righteousness given to you as a gift. You are upright and in perfect standing with God. You no longer have to try to measure up because the blood of Jesus is your measuring cup. And once you taste of this Reality you’ll never want of another brand.

It is this precious blood-flow of the Lamb that silences the voice of condemnation and shuts the mouth of your accuser. But you need to speak it. The Spirit of faith is, “we believe therefore we speak” (2 Corinthians 4:13). Let 2022 be the year you rise up in power by speaking the power of the blood. 

With your words, draw the bloodline of Jesus around your life, then like Johnny Cash, “walk the line” by resting in His peace. Plead the blood over yourself, your mind, health, children, marriage, family, finances and future.

The blood of Jesus destroys every curse and protects you from every pestilence and evil. You can even declare the blood of Jesus covers anything and everything the enemy has stolen from you. 

Be like Rahab, who trusted in God alone to save her and her family by letting down a scarlet cord (the bloodline of Jesus) from her window (grace) in Jericho (see Joshua 2).

And because you see and believe the blood has brought you into the secret place of His presence where you are hidden from all harm, 2022 will be a year of experiencing lost things restored, justice for being wronged, dead places raised to life, and the blessings of heaven poured upon you like never before!
