Just believe. Jesus doesn’t want you focused on your behavior, your efforts or your devotion. Your “work” is to believe. He’s looking for simple trust. Abraham believed God and his trust in the Savior transferred God’s righteousness to him.
Believe He took you with Him in His resurrection because it is ALL finished! Believe Jesus’s blood has washed you clean. Believe you are forgiven. Believe He made you perfectly acceptable to your Daddy God. Believe you have everlasting peace with Him who took your sin, punishment and guilt for your freedom.
Believe He lives to love you, intercede for you, protect you, provide for you, favor you and heal you. Believe He knows what He is doing and has it all planned out to take care of you and give you the future you hope for (see Jeremiah 29:11 msg).
Let doubt dissolve in the presence of His Rest as you believe it’s all about Jesus’s doing, Jesus’s devotion and Jesus’s deluge of goodness. All the strength and power you need flows from Him! All the love you need is found in Him! It’s all about Jesus! (Psalms 62:11-12)
