In Your Darkest Hour, He Comes To You

“…the Lord my God illumines my darkness.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭18:28‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

In the fourth watch of the night when the disciples were stuck in the middle of the sea surrounded by waves of resistance, Jesus came to them walking on their torment. (Mark 6:45-52)

The fourth watch of the night was the darkest segment of time before dawn (3-6am). The men had been straining and struggling trying to make some kind of headway.

They were being harassed and tortured by the headwinds of strife and oppression. They kept forcing and pushing and trying to move forward, yet their self-efforts brought endless exhaustion and defeat.

BUT JESUS.

But Jesus saw them in their helplessness and He came to them. At the end of their rope, they had forgotten the power of His love and wonder-working grace. In the fullness of their fear they doubted His presence.

Until they heard His voice, “Don’t yield to fear or panic! I AM here; it is finished.”

Beloved, He knows what you’ve been going through. He knows the weariness you feel from the whipping winds of worry and wonder. He knows the tempest of turmoil that’s been testing your trust.

And He says to you this moment, “Cease striving and surrender to my Saving Grace. Let go and let yourself be lifted by My perfect love for you. Relax and rest in MY faithfulness. For I AM God and I AM working good in every detail of your life. You may not see it now, but I AM bringing about a great healing and hope to your heart and soul. Be still and know My Spirit leads you one step at a time into my supernatural abundance.”

Favored one, when Jesus becomes your focus, you’ll find yourself protected by His peace. Today, choose to let His tender comfort be your calm, and praise on!

Resting In His Love,

Annalee Reyes
