2026: Filled With His Fullness

“…His body, the fullness of Him Who fills all in all [for in that body lives the full measure of Him Who makes everything complete, and Who fills everything everywhere with Himself].”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭23‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

We are living in Biblical times. The days are different than they used to be. Everything is changing. And the Lord is preparing us for a whole new life on the Earth with Him, in His glory.

I know I speak for many true believers when I say this past year has been one of the most emotional, hard-pressed and confusing years I’ve walked through. And I’ve been walking with the Lord in intimacy for over 20 years.

At the beginning of 2025, I wrote a Word titled, “The Gold of Old,” in which the Holy Spirit revealed that our faith, like gold, would be tried in the fire like never before, so that our trust in Jesus would be proved genuine.

The heat would beautifully burn away religious-based root systems and forge in us a new depth of dependence on His Lordship and grace. The impurities of performance-based Christian living while striving to make things happen in our own effort would be purified through pain and pressure. The point was to be left with none of us and all of Him.

I surely felt the fire of being set free from me. And I would guess many of you reading this also felt the flames of your heart’s refinement through all you endured.

Yet you were never alone. Jesus felt your every emotion and heartbreak. He shed your tears while bottling them. He ached with your anguish while holding you tight. All the while, He was fashioning every cell of your suffering into new life, for your good and His glory, even if you don’t yet see or understand it.

From the physical and emotional stress of caring for my parents while my dad spent nine months in and out of the hospital, to financial challenges and family tensions, to spiritual warfare and the mystery of being moved out of old “anointings and abilities” and into the discomfort of feeling I could do nothing as I once did…it all carried more purpose than I could imagine because it was all preparation ground for the prosperous plans I know He has for me (Jeremiah 29:11).

Although I trusted in the Lord with all my heart and praised Him through the storms and silence, the trauma from these trials had my soul feeling fragile and wounded. Although I was realigned to the gift of the present moment and reminded of what matters most in life, it still felt as if my love tank was running on E=empty. And with any new disruption, the heaviness of the year would bounce back around like a bout of PTSD.

On a side note, let me be clear: the God of Love is not the author of sickness, sorrow, darkness, death, loneliness or lack. He defeated them all on the cross. But in this fallen world, He will faithfully wrought ALL things together for our good; weaving EVERY detail of our lives into a tapestry of divine destiny (see Romans 8:28).

That’s why when I cautiously started seeking my Abba for the “2026 Word and symbol of the Year,” He began to leave me a trail of hearts (as He first did more than 14 years ago). Then, on Christmas Day, He said to me, “I’m going to fill your heart to the fullest it’s ever been.” And with those words alone, I could feel the healing begin.

Immediately Ephesians 3:19 came to my spirit. “to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be FILLED with all the FULLNESS of God.”

Many years ago, the Lord immersed me into the experiential truth of this living Word. Through deeper revelations of His finished work, I began to test the length, plumb the depths and rise to the heights of His love (see verse 18). But now, I know He wants me and YOU to experience His heart in ways we never have before.

The One who lavishly loaded the heavens and Earth with His goodness and holds the universe together, expanding it by the mighty power of His spoken word, is determined to continually fill us, His crowned creation, with the fullness of Himself.

In the above verse, the Greek word “filled” is “pleroo.” It means to fill up, liberally supply, cause to abound and even to bring to pass His promises and prophecies.

The word “fullness” is “pleroma” and denotes the complete essence and full measure of God‘s presence. In other words, the completeness of who God is wants to wholly complete you with the revelation that you complete Him!

Of course, when you first received Jesus and became a brand-new creation, He took up residency inside you. But that was only the beginning. He forever longs to expand you with the full capacity of His character and nature; the limitless manifestation of His very being. There is no end to experiencing Him!

This happens not with head knowledge, but through heart transformation; when Jesus is continually unveiled by the Holy Spirit. The amplified version says it like this:

“[That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!”

Picture a cup in the middle of the ocean. You are the cup and the ocean is the fullness of God. The ocean is not emptied. The cup is overwhelmed by the inexhaustible.

I also saw a heart being pumped full with what looked like liquid gold from a heavenly hose, just as a gas pump fills a vehicle’s tank with fuel.

In the Old Testament, God filled the Temple with His Shekinah glory cloud (1 Kings 8:11). King Jesus is the glory of God and today you and I are His Temple where He not only indwells us but continually fills and quickens us with His splendor without measure.

This is the same filling as the mighty rushing wind from heaven that filled the Upper Room on Pentecost where those waiting on the Lord – those yielded to Him – were engulfed by the Holy Spirit and began living in the power of God, changing the world around them (see Acts 2).

Beloved, you must be willing to give Him access to all of you; surrendering all. Only then will you heal: body, soul and spirit. The Lord says, “Give Me more of your heart to fill it. Give Me all of it. I know and love all of it. Give Me all the broken parts, the empty parts, the hurting parts, the numb parts, the wounded parts, the deadened parts. And I will fill you with My whole heart in every place. For I don’t give My heart in pieces and I don’t fill your life in part.”

I pray this year you would be deeply healed. I pray for your heart to be enlarged by the Lord like never before as He fills it to the fullest it’s ever been. In every area of your life where the enemy sought to steal, kill and destroy, I pray you would be saturated beyond belief with His restoration and abundance. Lastly, I pray that as you simply enjoy a new level of intimacy with the Lord, you would become more fully YOU; the you God fashioned from the foundations of the Earth to fill the lives of those around you in a way no one else can!

“A thief has only one thing in mind—he wants to steal, slaughter, and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect —life in its fullness until you overflow!”
‭‭John‬ ‭10‬:‭10‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Resting In His Love,

***************

Jesus has been pursuing you relentlessly all your life. If you’ve never received Jesus Christ as your forgiveness, your Lord and your Savior, you can pray this simple prayer from your heart and become born again, a brand new creation and child of Daddy God, your loving Father:

“Heavenly Father, Thank You for sending your Son for me. I believe He came to earth to be born in the flesh to die my death on the cross. I believe His blood washed my sins away and completely cleansed me. I believe He redeemed me from every curse by becoming my curse and was raised from the dead because I was declared justified and righteous. Jesus, come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. I am now fully forgiven! I am a child of God, blessed, favored and incomprehensibly loved. In Jesus Name. Amen!”
