The days are heavy. We hurt and we want to stay in-tune to things taking place because of the biblical time-point we’re in. But you have to take time away from your news feed to FEED ON JESUS. Feed on His Word. Feed on His finished work. Feed on His never-ending love for you.
Get away from the “information overload” when you feel unsettled. And get away with Jesus so He can restore your soul in Truth. Instead of losing yourself by being too busy, be still and be Spirit-led. He leads you by peace or lack of it. The enemy wants you frantic and in unrest. Jesus wants you faith-filled in His Rest.
Now, more than ever, when you don’t understand events unfolding, you need to trust Him all the more. He is Good. He is Sovereign. He is Healing. He is your Hope. He is your Hiding Place. He is for you. His plan will prevail.
Before Jesus fed more than 5,000 people through His disciples, He pulled them aside to feed them first. He gave them “a breather.” He refreshed their hearts. Freely you receive, then freely you can give. He is transforming and preparing you for the days ahead. So spend time in His presence today to strengthen yourself in the Lord.
Tell Him you want to walk in a greater measure of His grace, power and authority. He is the Light that dispels all darkness. And when His Light floods your life, you will free the world.
